The Book Bus Visit
By Berkan Ferit In Newsletter, ParentsOn Tuesday 23rd February, we were lucky enough to have the Book Bus Matilda come and visit us. The bus is owned by the charity, The Book Bus and is due to head to Africa in April. In Africa, Matilda will visit many remote communities and schools, allowing the children who live and learn there to experience the joy of reading. The outside design on Matilda was created by Quentin Blake, who is instantly recognisable as the illustrator of Roald Dahl’s fantastic books.
What a wonderful start to Spring 2, which is celebrating Reading at Randal Cremer.
